Hope you succeed in getting your life at least partially back to something resembling normality.

Walter, I sincerely hope you secured employment as mentioned in your posting 26th August. Unfortunately I do not have any contacts in USA.
I saw you very briefly in Cork this year, I hope your life becomes all that you desire and your relationship with your daughter flourishes.
Regards Loretto

Thank you everyone for all of your much needed support. However I am desperately seeking employment in the metro Detroit area. If anyone has any contacts for employment opportunities please contact me at this website.

You are a man of great integrity and compassion. I wish you all the best on this new chapter of your life. I hope you enjoy your time in Ireland, and have some time to take in the beauty. To all those at The Innocence Project and to all those who have supported you I extend my deepest gratitude. You will always remain in my thoughts and prayers

Mr. Swift,
I would like you to know that your conviction and story is tragic to me. I work for the MDOC and I wish you a long free life. I just wanted you to be aware that your image and false record is still on the state website. God Bless You!

Walter, you are an inspiration and I wish such wonderful things for you. I am sure you have touched the lives of so many people already, and will continue to do so. God bless you.

Enjoy the rest of you're life Walter.
I cannot believe that they incarcerated an innocent man for 26 years and then do nothing to try and compensate you as if anything would for all those lost years. But they could at least try!

Hi, does anyone know if Walter is still in Ireland and if so are there any more public appearances?
Many thanks.

Walter, Congratulations on your freedom. Your story is amazing, we have been hearing about you since Niamh started with the Innocence Project as a trainee all those years ago. It is heart warming to hear you speak with such optimism and positivity for your future. We are delighted for you and so proud of our very good and dear friend Niamh who campaigned relentlessly to set you free. Well done to both of you! Sarah, Dungarvan.

Walter, I have been following your story with interest over the last few weeks. It is a fascinating story with plenty of emotions, but central to it all is hope. I wish you the very best for your future, enjoy...

I would just like to thank all the wonderful and supportive citizens of the beautiful land of Ireland. I would also like to say that without your loving support and unending commpassion that the ordeal that I had to face for 26 years would most certainly have left me quite numb, you are all responsible for the happiness that has come into my life. For that I will forever be in your debt. I love you all. Thank you.

Hi Walter, I was entralled by your interview yesterday with Matt Cooper. It was the first time I heard of your story. I am so happy to hear you finally got back your freedom. I wish you all the best for the future. Hope you enjoy your time in Ireland!
Karen, Cork.

Hi Walter,
Congratulations on coming through your ordeal with such dignity and humility. Hearing you speak on Irish radio was inspirational and backed up all the great things Niamh has been saying about you. We know you will have a great time in Ireland. Wish we could be there to meet you in person.
